Noodlebox used to be super tasty, and I really really wanted the reviews about quality crashing and burning to be wrong. But, gathered here with some friends and my dinner was appallingly bad. I thought other reviewers might have been an anomaly when they said...they had resigned themselves to throwing out their food from noodle box, but I ended up throwing about half of mine out. My dish was so very very bad. At best temperature reached the joyous height of 'warm' which rapidly returned to cold, noodles weren't cooked but more so had the raw taste and consistency of noodles that have been soaked in water to soften rather then actually cooked and the broth was extremely bitter, like someone took an entire bottle of stale curry powder and lime perhaps and tossed it on. Other dishes at the table were all pretty much misses. I'm not picky, I'm really not, and I've tried some sketch places and some good places, and while I may have to "save things" with a bit of hot sauce here or there, I've never thrown away my dinner until tonight. noodle box has lost its way, and sadly lost our groups patronage. I really hope they find their way back to the amazing place they used to be before their failures put them out of business. The ambiance is really cool, dishes are pretty looking but taste like garbage. Please please please hire competent cooks, respect the recipes that made you popular and fix the food.
