We went to the 1608 Bar while staying at Fairmont Chateau Frontenac in March, 2022. We have stayed at other Fairmont Hotels across Canada and have tried out the various bars at the hotels. 1608 Bar is rich in history, has a unique and cool...ambience to it. The drink menu wasn't incredibly large and most of the drinks were on the higher side. It's too bad you couldn't really order food here (light snacks), We weren't provided a food menu to look at so perhaps you can order food. Usually the bars at these hotels offer comp. snacks ie. popcorn etc. and I don't recall being offered any of this. It was still nice to check out and enjoy a drink here. Our server was pleasant, took the time to go over the various drinks with us, and made suggestions on what we should try.
