Visited this location this evening (Nov. 14, 2021). There were 2 kids and 2 adults. We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant was not very busy. Our waitress came by to take our order. We immediately ordered the kids meals from their kids menu...as they were very hungry. And the adults ordered their drinks. The drinks came out promptly. And the kids meals came out reasonably fast. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were quite small, the fries were burnt and their burger patties were over cooked and dry. (See photo) Fast forward approximately 50 minutes later and the adult’s food finally came out! (Remember, the restaurant was not very busy!) We ordered a steak salad (medium for the steak) and buffalo chicken flatbread. Not sure why it took almost an hour to prepare our food? Our server apologized for the delay. Although it was not her fault. The steak that was suppose to be medium, well…. It was medium well to well done. (See photo) Very tough and chewy. The salad was over saturated with chipotle dressing. The flatbread was the only thing that was positive. The kids were still hungry, so we ordered a side of fries. Well, that took another 30 minutes to come out! The kids thought they forgot about us! I asked to speak to the manager at the end of the meal. The manager/owner came by and looked at us. I had to ask if he was the manager, found out he was the owner as well. I explained our disappointment at the service from the kitchen. He listened. And the only thing he said, “I can’t run a business like this if the kitchen takes so long, especially after COVID.” I looked at him, reiterated my disappointment in the service from the kitchen, and he thanked me for telling him. And he walked away. We asked for the kids’ desserts to go and for the bill. Overall, it took almost 2 hours to dine when it could have easily taken much less. Absolutely one of my all-time worst experiences dining at a restaurant. AVOID at all cost! Will never be returning. The only positive was our server, Yiseth. She was polite, professional and apologetic for the delay in food.
