I live within walking distance of that restaurant, so know the area and the local ‘culture’. Been to that place once for lunch about 8 years ago with work colleagues, and with my wife very recently. Two things have not changed. First, the food is...excellent. Second, the waiting time is terrible. It’s like they have to go to the nearby river to catch the fish before they serve it. Just ridiculous. Plus, you constantly have to remind the waiter that you need, water, time for desert, coffee or tea, and the bill. Mind you, they are very nice and appolegetic but God are they ever slow. Will not be going back unless my life depends on it. This is not a bring your own wine so, as is the case for all restaurants in Quebec, expect to pay 2 x or 2.5 times what you would pay for the same bottle at the SAQ (government run liquor store monopoly). That’s the deal in this province.
