Having emigrated from Toronto, I have longed to be able to enjoy an Italian Style Veal Sandwich. My 30 year wait was finally over when California Sandwiches opened up. I had previously enjoyed them in T.O. but could never find anything like it here in...Montreal. The bun was fresh, the breaded veal soft and tender with a nice crisp on the breading, the tomato sauce not overpowering. Add some cheese and peppers to finish us off and you have a sandwich you will never forget! Too bad I'll have to drive down to St Denis to get my fix, but sure beats the heck out of driving all the way to Toronto!More
