Popped into Vancouver itself while waiting between flights - Skytrain did the job nicely - and just fancied something nice and easy to keep me going. The Cambie looked good and it was good. Decent selection of pub food - I had a nice burger...with lovely fries - and it had a great selection of good beer. I had the Black Tusk Ale, from the Whistler Brewing Co - described by the barman as a dark bitter, almost like a porter. It was a fine description of a fine pint - it was a bit like a mild, specifically like Brains Dark for those of you familiar with it. The staff were cheerful, the music was good - I'd happily go there again if the opportunity arose.
