We live by and come to Zipang at least a couple times a month when we’re feeling down and need some good solid sushi to pick us up. The staff here are all extremely friendly and polite - efficient and don’t keep you waiting very...long unless they’re crazy busy. Really nice vibe here - and very family friendly. We’ve come here with infants and toddlers, and the staff are very accommodating. Sushi! Where to start? The sushi here is - like I said - very solid. Fresh ingredients, good flavors, good fish. Their oshizushi (pressed sushi) is SO GOOD. Try it. It’s rad. The East Meets West sushi is a little more meat heavy than I would usually do, but it’s delicious. Sometimes they have these chicken wings in the specials menu. GET THEM. Their ebi sunumono is also very yummy. Random tip? Try the angel water tea if you’re not having beer or sake. I’ve honestly never had a bad meal here, and I’ve come here more than a few times to heal my hurt pride when the 1+ hour long waits at Toshi on 16th yield only an empty stomach. Zipang will always be a great choice.
