This restaurant was a toughie for me. Four of us went for dinner, and while I do want to go back and try their Butcher Block entrees, I would not order any of the entrees we had that night again. As appies, the bone marrow...came as advertised here at TripAdvisor--excellent. The potato puffs were delicious little calorie bombs that filled our carb craving. The Orechietti Ragu was the best entree we tried, but there was nothing special there. The Flat Iron steak in both presentation and taste was quite bland. And a bit skimpy IMHO. The ambience is great--typical downtown Vancouver hipster scene with brick wall and long table along the wall. I can certainly see how it's popular--great vibe, food is good enough, though 5 oz pours for $15 on very average wines strikes me as rich. I do want to return to try the Butcher Block and the charcuterie.
