The 4 of us arrived around 6:30 pm for dinner. Luckily we arrived before the crowd. We didn’t know they take reservations. We ordered 4 entrees and we were all pleased with the bigger than normal portions. My favourite was the lobster basket with steamed...lobster on top a bed of regular rice mixed with sticky rice. It was big enough to feed 6. Nice to have leftovers. Second favourite was pea shoots with plenty of garlic. Other 2 yummy dishes were honey garlic spareribs and eggplant and scallops hot pot. Could of had a few more scallops. The eggplant was flavourful. The meal came with complimentary dong gua soup and sweet bean soup for dessert. The entire menu is written in Chinese along with food specials posted on the wall. I allowed my cousin to do the ordering. I am pretty sure a staff member can help with the ordering. The wait for the food was a little too long. Service was attentive. Seating was pretty cramped. Let’s say if there was a fire, could be a challenge getting out. Need to park on Kingsway. Located literally next to KFC on the south side of Kingsway. If I could, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. A decent place for a family meal. Forget about the place being fancy and beautiful ambience. Not the greatest looking outside but the inside looks like there has been a mini face lift. Since I was treated to dinner, I gather it’s a cash only place.
