Went for lunch as I work close to this pub, a bit of trepidation about going as it has the usual gang of smokers outside and the bottle depot close by is rough. Went inside and sat down, several tables of patrons were already in...progress. Order the beef dip from the menu and waited. Table could have used a good wipe and the restaurant a makeover but Covid, etc. The beef dip came and was a pleasant surprise, fresh, hot, tasty, and decent quantities of beef and fresh cut fries. Price is very reasonable and service was good. Have ordered pizza twice since then and can vouch for the pizza, abundant toppings and tasty. It does make you very thirsty though, keep plenty of beer handy. Will go again and recommend.
