The Tap & Barrel today rolled out its Dine Out Menus, available for a month from February 5 to March 7, also listed on its website. Its always enthusiastic & very friendly staff are excited by the various Dine Out menus, which range through Brunch,...Lunch & Dinner, & this year for the first time it will include a Kids Dine Out menu at the competitive price of 15$ for three courses. It also offers for takeout. I have enjoyed all my visits to this eatery, located as it is in Olympic Village, overlooking the water, & a close, scenic walk from Science World. It also has a great patio. Its location is great, its service superb, the food well prepared & the menus wide ranging. It also offers 24 craft beers on tap, as well as wine & cocktails. I was first introduced to it by my son & his family of four. It was my birthday & I was being treated to a surprise performance at Cirque de Soleil. We strolled along the waters edge to this nicely located eatery & sprinted back, as we had so enjoyed the T&B experience we had lingered longer than we should have. It was a happy hour, which is offered every day from 3 to 6 pm & then again from 9 pm to closing at 11pm. It opens at 11 am. I had the steak frites then & have returned again & again on my own for the same dish. At 20$ it offers good value and it is delicious. My family were also happy with their choices. The service was great then & now. The dine out menu is 22$ for brunch; lunch & dinner are 35$. All three menus have a nice range of dishes. I have my eye on the lobster & truffle Mac & Cheese, which is an additional 8$ on the multi-course Dine Out lunch & dinner menu of 35$.
