Passed by this restaurant as we were walking up Hornby Street from the Granville Island ferry stop. A family coming out of the restaurant told us it was great so we went back later that evening for dinner. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The...special rolls were packed with fish and not heavy on the rice. The sashimi platter had nice sized pieces and a good fish assortment. They gave us the fish we asked for and left out the things we did not want included. The prices were unbelievably reasonable. The special rolls ran from $ CA 7 to about $ CA 11.25 and most of them were $CA 8 or $CA 9. We did not have any of the cooked dishes like teriyaki or yakiudon or tempura so I cannot comment about those. The place is very small. There is no liquor license and they allowed us to bring our own wine. Service was wonderful. If you are staying at the Marriott Residence Inn this is one block away.
