Disabled community and others not "from" Toronto beware. I arrived at 7:30pm on a Sunday and simply asked if I could have a table for one. I explained that I did not see well and that my cell phone was not working properly. I was...wearing dark glasses and a L'Acadie baseball cap & France t-shirt in honour of National Acadian Day. Rather than showing me to a table with a menu, the host simply kept holding a clipboard in my face with what looked like a QR code on it, so I fumbled for my phone and tried to do what he was asking, but he became irritated with me. I told him I just needed a little help but couldn't be at a place like this, and he said, "that's totally fine." He either hates disabled people, Francophones, solo diners or maybe all of these - three strikes this place is out. I went down the street to Hair of the Dog and had the completely opposite experience - welcoming, caring, and attentive.
