Found Namskar on Google searching for 'vegan Indian restaurants Calgary', their menu is online and is fab: all vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are clearly marked on the menu. All the staff were lovely and welcoming, after having driven five hours straight I was...overwhelmed by their hospitality alone. We ordered three dishes between three of us, one of which was aloo palak (vegan) and 2x tandoori roti without butter for myself - I finished my whole plate! Delicious! And I felt great afterwards too, no Bangalore Belly or tummy tremblings! My wife and her friend struggled to finish their meals because the portions are generous, however they both loved them. The restaurant has free customer parking at the rear. It's beautifully decorated and we loved the experience - and the Auntie who I think is the co-owner is just the best! :) This trip was more functional for the weekend however we're returning to Calgary soon for a vacation, and Namskar will definitely be our first port of call to get our Indian food fix!More
