I have been to this East Side Mario's in a LONG time! My boyfriend and I paid a visit to this location Aug 23, 2020 on our way home from a weekend in Kingston. To my surprise, things have changed for the better. Our waitress...(I wish I could remember her name) was fantastic! She was very friendly and knew her stuff! Any question we had about the menu she could answer. From our drink order to our entree, everything was brought out promptly. We were pleasantly surprised to have the manager come by to see how everything was. He was courteous and professional. He asked us if we were enjoying everything and how the service was. We had nothing negative to say. I had the Italian Grilled Cheese with the Parmesan Fries (which BTW are DA BOMB!), my BF had the Chicken Parm which, as described on the menu is as AS BIG AS YOUR HEAD! Nice to see that this family staple in Kanata is back to it's old self thanks to new management. I would also like to mention, they were strictly following all the necessary COVID protocols.
