We went here around 9:30, and closing is 10. When we arrived, they told us that it was last call for the bar, but they did not tell us closing time for the restaurant. We ordered food and drinks, and didn’t receive our order until...after 9:45. Around 10:15, they started pushing us to leave. Around 10:30, they took and dumped out the remainder of our pitcher without asking. They then returned to force us to leave, which was less than an hour after closing, which was not a policy disclosed when we arrived. Between my friend and I, we have worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade, and have never in either of our experiences forced a paying customer to leave due to staying after closing. At the restaurants we have worked at, the policy is that the staff wait until the last customer finishes. We didn’t get to finish what we had ordered, and felt this was extremely poor customer service. The servers who told us to leave were neither apologetic nor understanding about the situation. Had we have been told in advance that they have a policy to kick customers out after a certain time after closing, we would have ordered a smaller serving, or gone elsewhere. We did not get what we paid for. Mediocre burritos with a side of subpar service.
