I go to the Fish Cafe once a week, at least. The fish is always fresh and gorgeously cooked. Today was exceptional - the chef had Dover sole on the board. Had to try it and it was AMAZING!!! I've had Dover sole at one...of the most expensive French restaurants in Vancouver where there's a lot more fussiness over the cooking and plating. Ultimately, the sole today at the Fish Cafe was as good if not better. Simply grilled in butter, there is no place to hide any mistakes; and there were none. Delicious and perfect, as is all the fish served here. You can't go wrong. And I have a new favourite at my favourite restaurant in town.
