COVID has been challenging to the restaurant industry and so to find a place where the service orientation is so strong is notable. Owner Amir makes you feel like you are a valued guest and he has the patience and good nature to walk you...through the menu and make suggestions etc. Haven’t felt this well taken care of in a long while! The menu should be pretty familiar with bbq staples and an array of sauce options plus some sandwich / poutine options. We opted for a lot of things: Pork ribs were excellent with the right amount of char and flavourful ‘classic’ sauce while still being moist and yummy. Not ‘fall of the bone’ type but excellent nonetheless. Pulled pork similarly very very good. Beef brisket was good but not noteworthy. Beef rib was a bit tough and the only item I would not suggest. Surprise standout was the porc taco which is also on their lunch special menu so with fries and a drink is a real bargain and delicious, if messy. Fries and mac and cheese were great. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. Definitely will be back to try some other stuff!More
