Avoid at all costs! This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered an iced tea along with my perogies and when it came it had a red tinge to it. It tasted a bit fruity and so...gave a sip to a friend. She said it was a bit of a strange flavour for an iced tea. When I approached the waiter on it, he said they added wine to the iced tea for flavour! Who does that??! Who adds an alcoholic breverage to what is supposed to be a non-alcoholic drink? I ordered a non-acoholic drink because I am pregant and I told the waiter as much. He didn't care and was completely emmotion-less. He even defended their actions by saying there wasn't much in there and not to worry! He even had the audacity to say the cook agreed with him! Firstly, its not his body or his baby that has now ingested alcohol. Secondly there was enough in there to taste like diluted sangria, so it wasn't a minute amount. And regardless of the amount, I should have been told that it wasn't real iced tea that I ordered, or at the very least that it had been altered. And if I so chose to drink alcohol during my pregancy (which I don't!) then I would do it under my own volition, not be tricked into it. What if I was an recoverying alcholic, or had a medical condition where ingesting alcohol had severely dire consequences? What if I ordered this iced tea for my child thinking it was OK? This practice is unsafe, and unethical. I feel completely violated by this experience. Avoid this restaurant. Period. It is not worth it as you don't know what you're actually getting.
