I work in downtown Montreal and I'm CRAZY about sushi. I wanted to give Kuu a try once I simply love braised nigiris and they don't serve them at Fishuu (very good option btw) for lunch. I was alone, it was around 12h30 and, at...the door, I could glance some free tables. The host approached me asking how many people the table was for. I told him "Only for me". He simply made NO with his head, to which I didn't understand. I asked him what the problem was, he said "We dont have a table available for you." I said "I'm sorry?? You are telling me that I cannot have lunch here because I'm ALONE?? Is that what you're saying??" He replied arrogantly "Yes, that is what I'm saying, our tables for 2 are all taken." I looked around and there were, like, 3 FREE tables for 4 or 6 people, FREE! I was in awe and only able to pronounce "WOW.... That's "amazing!!..."" He simply turned his back on me and kept on walking and I left the place ashamed and shocked. A PLACE NEVER TO GO BACK TO!!!More
