While passing through Jasper for 2 nights, I ordered Earls for takeout on the first night. The food was outstanding! We decided to go back the next night but dine-in (patio seating) because I enjoyed the food so much. I have been in the industry for 8 years and it was almost immediate that I knew the server was brand new. The drinks took 18 minutes to get to us and the appetizer took 41 minutes to get to us. Hearing other tables, the server was having difficulties keeping up. When we were able to get his attention, we asked for our mains to be packed up to go because we were really sick of waiting around as it was freezing out. Inside you could see management getting our server 'in trouble' which was not necessary. Our review of Earls is a direct reflection on management, not the server. There was no help to assist the server and there were no tools provided for success. This is a huge shame because the food at Earls is absolutely incredible along with the view. It is evident that this restaurant is not 'team focused' and therefore resulting in a bad customer experience.
