My wife and I have been trying different Ethiopian restaurants lately. We came across Cafe D'Afrique and were excited that the owner was the cook from Nyala formerly on Main and also West 4th. We arrived and we greeted by the owner and talekd to...here about Nyala. She said this was not the same as Nyala We ordered Lentil Sambusa as an appetizer. They were good but, something was missing.My wife ordered mild beef and I ordered the spicy chicken.The order came with all the sides. Chick Pea's,Rice etc that other places we had been to were not adding to there plates. So we were excited. My chicken was pretty tender and tasty. My wife's beef was a little tough but, tasty. I ordered an African beer which was good. My wife ordered the honey wine which honestly smelt terrible but, was really good. Still looking for the best EthiopianMore
