Midweek, 8pm visit. the restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. the menu has aburi - seared sushi with a smokey flavour, we tried the salmon and it was really good - topped with a jalpeno that worked but maybe not for purists....We had a selection of agedashi tofu, sashimi, and 2 rolls. all was tasty and good and we especially loved the Aburi . The sauce on the crispy hot night roll was more just hot sauce than spicy mayo so lacked a subtlety to compliment the flavors and textures it overpowered - so maybe ask for the sauce on the side. Service was average could have been a bit more attentive at the beginning and end.
