??? Arrived 5ish on Thursday, luckily got a spot in tight parking lot. The sign let us know vaccination proof was necessary so we had our phone and ID out, got scanned and seated lickety split. Moved to a table with comfy bench seat and...promptly had our drinks order taken and served. My friend ordered sweet potatoe fries and calamari. I got the poutine. Food was served in good time and water request done immediately. That's one way of noticing excellent service - when you're in a PUB and they aren't slow to serve water! Atmosphere was really relaxed and welcoming. Felt like a real pub, no yuppy/ hipster attitude. My poutine was big and delicious. Gravy was gorgeous. More than I could eat so I took the rest home. The calamari was fresh, nicely seasoned and plentiful!!! NO skimpy serving camouflaged with cheap filler. It comes with cherry tomatoes, red onions, cucumber slices and a delicious dip. Kinda like having a little greek salad which was lovely. The sweet potatoes were a generous portion - perfect for 2 to share. In fact all the dishes were big enough for 2 to share. Gotta say it was so great to come back to a place after years and find it's just as great as ever. My compliments to the chef and to the gal who served us, made us feel very well looked after and was both efficient and friendly. We'll be back for sure.
