We came here tonight with some friends, on their recommendation, as they had been here before and raved about their authentic Northern Chinese menu. We were not disappointed. Every dish we tried reminded me of what I used to have as a child growing up...in the Far East. The food, if you choose right, is very authentic. My favourite had to be the Xiao Long Bao - soup dumplings. The soup inside the dumplings were so flavourful and genuine, you know it has no artificial flavouring in it. The wrapping on the dumplings taste homemade, as so all the other dishes we tried, including the hand pulled noodles. They had just the right amount of chewiness (ie gluten). My other favourite dish was the spicy string beans - crispy and soooo yummy! They also serve western Chinese dishes, so you need to know what to order in order to get the authentic flavours of Northern China. We enjoyed every dish we had and will definitely be back.
