Food was great as always. This was an anniversary dinner and the place we had our first date. The food was good as always but the service put a big crimp in the overall experience. When we got there the restaurant had very few diners yet, all of whom seemed to already be established with meals or drinks. We ordered appy, drinks and meal right off the bat. Our complimentary polenta bites were delivered by other waitstaff but including ingredients we had warned previously about allergies, yikes! Different staff member but maybe should have been communicated or our table flagged in the seating chart. Our drinks were forgotten about and took a while even after we brought it to their attention, they came with the meal. We were told by 2 members of staff that they would like to gift us a dessert for the trouble but this added about 20 min sitting around after our meal because that also didnt come. I got the feeling like we would be content because they were already giving us something. We joked to each other about them moving a heat lamp to accommodate a couple sitting outside in the drizzle that if they would only stop forgetting about us they could have turned over our table for them. I think we will take a break from here until the current staff find their rythm.
