Late afternoon and with Jet Lag kicking in I decided to visit Yaletown which is a short ride away on the Sky Train from my Hotel.
Late afternoon and with Jet Lag kicking in I decided to visit Yaletown which is a short ride away on the Sky Train from my Hotel. Phat caught my eye as I walked down Mainland Street - previously a warehouse district converted into sports bars,...cafes, restaurants and shops. Multiple TV screens showing sports including live coverage - presently the Football World Cup in Russia holds everyone’s attention. Phat serves a wide range of beverages including craft beers - I had a pint of Stanley Park Windstorm Pale Ale which was nice and chill. They also offer food - sharing plates, soups, salads, sandwiches and other items which one expects from a Sports Bar. A bit early for me to have dinner so I stayed with the Beer.
