Saw a lot of good reviews on the food at Rain. I ordered a premium omakase box to find out whether the reviews were accurate. When I came to pick up I was sorely disappointed to be told they did not complete the order because...they ran out of uni. BTW I ordered a day before in anticipation of the Mother’s Day rush. So I left empty handed - no alternative was suggested was just asked so do you want o cancel your order. Not sure what they expect you to do when they say they can’t complete the order. On this day I was not alone another fellow waited 45 minutes only to be told the same thing - he placed his order 4 days prior. There were 3 others who were told the same thing in the 15 minutes I was waiting there. Doesn’t deserve anyone’s business.
