Les Affames is out of the tourist area and a favorite of locals. Recommended to us by our Airbnb host. We visited for lunch on the day we walked the Montreal Botanical Gardens, as it was an easy and convenient bus ride. Menus are in...French only, but our server cheerfully assisted us in English. We both had a full breakfast for lunch. Our favorite was the uncured, house-made bacon. The eggs were also great. The surprise was the toast - hard to believe it, I know, but toast made from really nice bread was so satisfying.
