I have been a frequent customer of KYO several times a month since I moved to Vancouver July 2018. The food is good but the service is garbage. I've never complained because of the food is good. Well tonight was a totally different experience, I...went to pay at the counter and left. Realizing that I forgot my cell phone I immediately returned to staff that were all of a sudden to busy to even talk. I was told to leave a phone # and if they found it that they will call me. Knowing it was there I call the police and started tracking my phone. I watched my phone maneuver around the restaurant. I was approached by a woman with short hair who told me that I should leave and they would call me. I explained that the cops were coming and I would wait till they reviewed the video tapes. 5 mins later she returned and told me that I could look for the phone myself. I used the app to sound the alarm and look for the phone... all of a sudden I hear my phone.. back by the kitchen. Nowhere near where I was sitting or paid, an area I never even visited. Hidden face down under a chair.. when I picked it up it was wet.... interesting.. The service is TERRIBLE the staff are THIEF'S and although the food is good I won't be back.. VPD suggested this review to warn other potential victims.. BEWAREMore
