This restaurant is small and cozy ... and the food seems authentically Mexican ... like what you would expect to see at a family dinner table in Mexico. I would have given it 5 stars, but the food was a little salty, and the service...person could have been a little more friendly and welcoming. In the end, all worked out well ... it was a definitely an ethnic evening ... where this visit to Montreal not only gave me the opportunity to explore this city, but also get an absolutely wonder Thai massage from Bodhi Thai Massage that is right next door to Frida Mexican Restaurant. And was perfect cause both these places were only a couple of minutes by foot to the Lionel Groulx metro ... nice especially when it is cold out.
