My family and I were looking for a restaurant to eat on Thanksgiving Day. It was our first day in Victoria so we didn't know where to go but we stumbled upon the Sticky Wicket. The staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us great...tips about Victoria and you can tell there is great camaraderie between staff (hostesses, bartenders, etc). We had the artichoke dip which was small but very delicious. We were not offered the thanksgiving meal but our chosen dinners (beef stroganoff and bangers and mash) were very good. We didn't realize how large the place actually is because where we were sitting the tables were quite empty. I Think more people were sitting near another bar on a different level. Would have loved to play a round of darts or pool if i knew it existed! The only comment is that the server was a bit casual and didn't follow standard 'server' procedures like coming up to the table and taking our order, giving food or clearing the table. He stood on the steps while doing this. However, he was super friendly and a really nice guy overall.
