Walking in to this establishment, my expectations were quite low. Reading the reviews and seeing the 2.5 star rating had me thinking it was going to be a mediocre experience. Once we sat down, we ordered water and waited for 10 minutes before getting our...waters. Once we acquired our waters, we waited another 5 minutes before she came back and took our orders. Surprisingly, our order came back faster than our simple water. At first glance, my calamari looked like absolute rubbish. I was expecting a crispy outer layer, and found myself picking at a soft noodle like substance. I thought to myself “It can’t taste as bad as it looks” but oh boy was I wrong. I took my first bite and felt the gooey texture attack my mouth as my taste buds proceeded to suffer greatly. I took another bite to confirm my suspicions, and found that yes, they were in fact worst than they looked. I forced myself to put on a smile and shoved each and everyone down my throat without chewing, drowning myself water as I desperately tried to avoid the taste. 10 minutes of my meal felt like a lifetime, and as I took the last bite of my dish, my hopes and dreams came back to me as I was thankful to god for letting me survive this experience. And yes, if you want to know, I did tip. That shows that I’m not writing this review out of spite. I am writing this review to save lost souls like myself from making the same mistake as my 2 dear friends and I. That calamari literally made me want to die. Long live Burger King!More
