Named by Encore Magazine as one of the country’s 10 best new innovative and memorable restaurants, my friends and I went to check out this new place on trendy Main Street. Resos for large parties need to be made well in advance as it is...primarily a walk-in restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and energetic and the service is attentive and helpful especially with recommendations for a table of 5 women. Because this was the first visit for all except one of us, we let our server order for us. He did a fantastic job - the ox-tongue with anchovy was one of the best as were the lamb meatballs with yogurt - excellent! The chipirones served in a romesco sauce were tender as was the octopus served atop a white bean purée. The patatas bravas were crispy and the mussels were done just right. The octopus in Galician sauce was served in a can and was accompanied by a bottle of hot sauce and crispy potato chips. We had 2 of the 3 dessert offerings - rice pudding and Basque cheesecake, so light and fluffy! I will definitely be back to try the other dishes.
