Ambience and service were good.
Ambience and service were good. Food was alright. Nothing spectacular. Sourdough bread felt a day old. Shaved fennel salad was slightly too acidic, the blue cheese didn't complement it, and overall a bit bland and boring. The rib-eye wasn't cooked to my specifications, so I couldn't enjoy it all, but it was alright. The brussel sprouts lacked the bacon that it offered (or maybe we didn't see any?) and it tasted like it was deep fried in the same fryer as the fries, so they were just ok...
