The dining room was full so I made a reservation in the bar for dinner after the Orlando matinee at MTC. It is so wonderful to be out to places again after the lockdown last winter! Apparently a lot of people were enjoying being out...also because the bar became packed with people. There was only one female server who took our order and brought our food promptly. That’s when the trouble started. It appeared that all the tables filled up and she was literally running across the room. Several male servers appeared and I walked over to one of them standing at the bar to explain that our food had arrived but we wanted our glasses of wine that we ordered and the server was obviously too busy to bring it. He said he was too busy also! I went back to our table and continued eating. About 10 minutes later with half of our meals consumed I went back to the bar again and asked the bartender about our glasses of wine. He said “ They are poured right there on the bar……you can take them! Can I get you a shot also?”. I said no thanks and took our wine to the table. He was helpful and I appreciated the off of a shot! My concern was for the poor female server who was literally being run off her feet and the four or five male servers who appeared but were doing little to help, The fellow I asked about the wine ignored me, and some of them were stopping at tables to have a visit while she ran by with orders, food, and drinks. Baileys needs more staff on an evening like that, and someone needs to observe those male servers to tune them up to do a better job. The female server was so impressive in not losing her focus and doing her best to look after all of the tables.
