From the outside, this place looks like a dump and the interior decor is nonexistent. It’s a rather sad looking place serving Northern Chinese cuisine. We ordered egg rolls to start. They were small but nicely crispy with a decent filling. The Yuxiang eggplant was...disappointing and I can’t recommend it. The eggplant was barely recognizable as eggplant and had an somewhat unpleasant taste. The chicken fried rice was good, though not great, and did not have much chicken in it. The special salted chicken was quite different from Cantonese or Shezwan style with a spicy kick and interesting tasty.
