Another Main Street gem, Grub has been serving the neighbourhood for many years. The dining room is small and quite cramped; it was full that night, so it was loud and a little difficult to hear your table mates. But it is worth it to...eat there. The French onion soup is authentic, the duck liver pate cake with beets, manchego and salad, and the warm vegetable salad hit the spot on a cold rainy night. I had the duck breast with mashed potatoes with gravy, the beef short rib cavatelli was generous, and the scallops were huge served on top of Indonesian rice. Our bellies were happy and full - definitely must return.
