Congee Noodle King 3313 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5R 5K6 Have not been back since COVID. Was out early doing errands, decided to have some congee for breakfast, one of the quintessential item for a Chinese breakfast. The restaurant is open at 10am! It is a...no frill Chinese restaurant, they had done some reconfiguration of the tables, not so tightly packed pre-COVID. The tables are nicely spaced, place looks a lot more tidy & clean. If you are looking for congee… look no further, this is the place! We ordered the large bowl of dried oyster, century eggs & shredded pork. Unfortunately they do not have the fried donut fritters that goes superbly well with congee. The congee was flavourful & full of ingredients to the point that the congee was thick like oatmeal. No complaints there. At 10am, you can order fried noodles! It is a full menu available at such a early morning. We were satisfied with our congee.
