Top level, unique dishes, and impressive facilities, it’s hard to deny the lengths this restaurant goes to provide a high end cuisine experience. The knock, the one item that often knocks down high end Chinese restaurants, was the service. The hostess was friendly and welcoming...but our waiter was impatient, almost impertinent, as my elderly mom decided on our order. Our family had a nice meal celebrating my birthday, spending for some very tasty dishes we would not typically order. However, the service left a hollow feeling to the experience despite the good food. As there are so many great options for fine dining in Vancouver, we are not particularly drawn to return.
