No wow factor here? Had a phone call 24 hours before to say a chef had quit and we wouldn’t be receiving the dinner we had requested. Was told to book another night. I explained this was a sentimental dinner and how important it was on this evening and explaining the somber reason. Only to get told, well come and just order off the menu. In my mind I debated dining elsewhere but could not accommodate with such short notice. When arriving we were not greeted in a kind manor and the table we were at was unacceptable and asked to be moved. All in all a huge let down and zero acknowledgement or effort to try and repair the evening.
