Please, note that this review is about the Capital Grill on Broadway, not the other one in Charleswood. We were there with friends. I ordered the Fish & Chips. I was expecting home made fries, crispy batter & moist fish. I got the opposite. Frozen...fries thrown in the frying basket; tough, thick, mushy/chewy batter; and the fish was Halibut, too dry (imo) for this kind of dish (Cod would have been better). This restaurant, considering the prices they ask, its location & atmosphere, advertises itself as high end. However, the quality of their Fish & Chips was similar to what you would expect in a mid-range restaurant. This item should be taken off their menu. (I'm certain that it had not been prepared, nor checked out, by the Chef.) Capital Grill has by and large a good reputation, but for $20.00 (or less) I could have found a much better F&C elsewhere.
