A friend and I who have not seen each other in ages, decided to finally get together for dinner at The Living Room. It was the last day of Winterlicious. Set menu and price. I arrived 25 minutes before my friend who was running late....The place was beautiful, very relaxing and inviting. Unfortunately, I sat there and no one acknowledged me for about 15 minutes. The waiter finally came over and I advised him that my friend was running late and that I would like to have a coffee for now as I was cold and the weather was bitter cold. He asked what kind of coffee. I said just a regular coffee with milk on the side. He said we don't have regular coffee. Really? Makes no sense. I said I will have a coffee. Whatever it is you have. I waited and waited. Finally nearly 10 minutes after ordering a coffee and still not getting one, another waiter came over (so this is almost 25 minutes since I arrived), and asked if I'd like something to drink. I told him I had ordered a coffee with the other waiter 10 minutes ago. He said, oh I'm sorry. I will get that for you. I finally get my Americano (which I didn't really want, too strong), but the other waiter said they don't have regular coffee so I had to settle. On top of that, when finally eating, the waiter did not come at all besides coming to bring our food. My glass of water, which I finished was never replenished by him and I was so frustrated by the service that I didn't even bother asking him. The food was great, but the service made me decide to unfortunately not return again to the Living Room. Once was good enough.
