Except for pho I had never tried Vietnamese food before. My friend and I decided to try Anh-Dao in China Town. We looked through the menu and then started to order. We then admitted to the waitress that we really did not know that to...order and what would she recommend? She took us in hand and explained what to order and it was obvious that she told all the other staff we were new to their cuisine. They came to the table and delivered the food and explained in detail what each thing was on the platters and how to assemble everything. They came back to our table several times to check how we liked the food and in our many interactions we found out all their meats, sauces are marinated and created in house. I truly enjoyed the menu and the staff/owners were so warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to venture into home made and good quality food. I will say I was really surprised at how busy this restaurant was on a Monday. It was a good sign and the pricing really was quite reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful experience Anh-Dao.
