Bolero was the first Brazilian style steakhouse in Calgary. It opened in 2007 but we had not yet visited, we booked a celebratory birthday dinner on a Tuesday night. We had a 4 month old with us, the staff happily sat us in quiet booth...slightly away from the busiest area of the restaurant (the fresco bar), as we requested. The service was wonderful, the meats (12 varieties) arrived on a regular basis and the fresco bar had enough of a variety to satisfy each of us. A highlight was the pineapple skewer, a refreshing few bites amongst the meat skewers. Our waiter brought us a large slice of their tres leches cake (on the house) for our birthday guest, a nice surprise and a tasty way to end our meal!More
