When this Biercraft first opened in Wesbrook Village, the Mussels were well prepared, the service was good and the decor was pleasant. Subsequent visits have been so disappointing that we have resolved to eliminate this place from our list of near-by spots to eat out....The last time I ate there, we were seated at a table set with cutlery and 2 glasses of warmish water (bubbles had formed on the sides of the glasses indicating that the water had been served quite a while ago). The glasses were never refilled. The Thai mussels were so spicy as to be inedible. I told the waitress about this who replied that she was allergic to seafood so didn't know if they were usually that overpowering. When I asked to see the Manager, he informed me that he, personally, liked very spicy food and left with no further comment. the Mussels Mariniere which are normally made with white wine, were made with white vinegar - terribly acidic and watery at the same time. On our third visit, I forgot about the Mussels and ordered a hamburger. Even that was a less than mediocre hamburger...surely they should be able to serve a hamburger. The beer is the only reason to come here...the food and service by untrained personnell is well below average.
