Due to the Covid pandemic, we decided to give Uber Eats a try. We placed our order online during the early afternoon and had our order delivered as requested on time. Due to limiting direct contact, you receive an e-mail when the driver has arrived...with your order. They leave the order at your door. Excellent!! We ordered 2 dishes, which arrived in 2 sealed wax-lined boxes. Our first dish was Pollo Parmigiana ($21.00). Delicious and really huge but not too thin. We cut the chicken into two pieces and shared the spaghetti which was nicely coated with olive oil and garlic. We also received a small container of Parmigiana cheese. It came with 2 large fresh pieces of Italian bread which we used for wiping up the oil and garlic. For our second dish, we ordered their Nero Di Seppia Pasta ($24.00). A nice selection of seafood nestled on top of black noodles. The black noodles are that colour because they have been infused with Squid ? ink. The shrimp, squid, clams and mussels were excellently prepared, all nice and soft and not rubbery. Once again the noodles were tossed in olive oil. For dessert, we received a nice sized cup of Tiramisu ($7.00). It was also delicious. The chef in their small kitchen definitely knows what he is doing given that he must account for the delivery time and doesn’t want anything overcooked. It will be nice to visit them again once this pandemic is over. Keep up the great work.
