This is the first "bordello inspired lounge" in Toronto according to the website advertisement. Newly opened, it is the transformation of the old W Cabaret. But, I learned all this after my visit and speaking to owner Gary who, when asked where the name came...from said unabashedly, "from a red-light district bar'. I thought he said Dublin but when I checked there's a prominent one in Amsterdam with the same name. Now, with the theme, the name makes sense. Tapas styled menu served in an eclectic room with inspiring décor that included banquettes, coffee tables, a stand up bar and an ultra cool chandelier. We had a Wallen Salad, Gnocchi and Lamb Sliders. All really well prepared and delicious.. According to DJ Tim, the time to come is after 10 when the place really hops.
