We were staying in Inglewood, Calgary and looking for a place to eat. Some internet searching found The Swans so we thought we would give it a go. The staff and locals were so friendly and chatty, they had Bangers and Mash on the menu...and it was too much of a temptation for Diane. It was served in a huge Yorkshire pudding that was one the best we have ever tasted. I had the Butter Chicken .. it was quite spicy but very yummy. We could not have been made more welcome. This is definitely a locals pub but visitors are welcomed with open arms. The service was great and the food fab.. they also serve excellent local (just up the road) beer! Two very generous meals and 2 and a half pints of great beer cost $54 CAD. Would definitely recommend this place.. good honest pub food with a great atmosphere ????More
