The name Monsieur and the fact that all the staff are male seem to suggest that this is not a restaurant for women, but that is absolutely false. Located across from the stylish hotel Monville in the Palais des Congres area of the city, this...small restaurant and its sturdy staff of hipsters see to it that the service and the food are both great. I was part of a Christmas party---we had a set menu with three options for each dish. The winner was the tender fried calamari. I also tried a delicious leak soup and a fine mushroom risotto. There are no culinary surprises here---no wildebeest stuffed with curcuma shoots, or Ushuaia penguin tartare frozen in a giant ice cube--, but what was delivered was quite good. There are several light meal and tasty vegetarian choices, so all "mademoiselles "and "madames" should be able to enjoy this hangout as well.
